Keesing Games activates Zigiz brand on mobile

Keesing Games, the Netherlands-based gaming company and part of Telegraaf Media Groep, has recently launched a mobile portal for its Zigiz gaming brand. The portal is powered by BoosterMedia and provides a variety of casual games that appeal to Zigiz’s core 20-40 year old female audience.

Keesing Games and BoosterMedia also plan to introduce a diverse slate of browser-based mobile social games that connect to various social networks such as Facebook. Prizee.com adds mobile destination

Prizee.com, a leading French casual gaming website where users can exchange credits for real prizes, has recently launched a mobile destination. The game portal features a broad selection of browser-based casual games.

Using a combination of both Flash and HTML5 technology, the mobile portal for Prizee.com supports iOS and Android devices, as well as many medium-range feature-phones.

BoosterMedia and MediaTrust have launched a mobile portal for spielen.de, MediaTrust’s online destination for German casual gamers.Supporting the majority of handsets, the mobile destination offers a wide variety of free casual games.

BoosterMedia secures investment round

Urecht October 27 – BoosterMedia today announced that is has secured a new round of investment for an undisclosed amount. Truffle Capital and Solid Ventures are the primary participants in this round. The new round will enable BoosterMedia to rapidly increase its partner network of mobile gaming portals internationally.

BoosterMedia powers MSN’s Mobile Gaming channel

BoosterMedia and MSN.nl, Microsoft’s leading online destination in The Netherlands, have now released a dedicated mobile games channel. Powered by BoosterMedia’s gaming solutions, the games section of m.msn.nl offers a wide variety of free casual games and quizzes for most mobile handsets.

The games can be played or downloaded directly from the portal, without complex installations required.

The games channel includes innovative social elements such as high-score leader boards in the portal and tournament-style contests. Additional mobile social gaming features are to be introduced shortly.

The games channel is introduced as part of the all new MSN mobile portal revamp, developed in partnership with MoMac (www.momac.net) and MSN Netherlands. The MSN.nl mobile portal can be accessed directly on any mobile phone through m.msn.nl.

Finns go mobile with Pelikone’s gaming destination

Pelikone.fi, Finland’s number one gaming destination, is now complemented with a mobile optimized games site. A selection of free to play and easy to understand casual games is offered to users visiting the site with their mobile phone.

New concepts around mobile social gaming will be introduced later this year.

Currently, games are available for mobile Flash, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and even PSP (Playstation Portable). Over 600 handsets already support mobile Flash, including almost all Nokia phones, the number one phone-brand in Finland.

Pelikone.fi was introduced by Sanoma Digital in autumn 2007 and soon became the most popular gaming destination. The site focuses on non-violent casual games and is particularly popular among girls and women.
