First you decide on the placement of your ships. Then you and your opponent take turns firing at each other. You aim to hit each segment of your opponent’s ships to make them sink. - How does a turn play out?
Each turn you get to shoot at your opponent 3 times. Additionally you can get a 4th shot by watching a video. - How do I fire?
Select a cell on the radar then hit the big red fire button! - What are special weapons?
Special weapons are powerful alternatives to the standard shot. They are limited in use but can provide huge strategic advantage. - How do I use special weapons?
You can select a special weapon by tapping one of the special weapon buttons on the bottom of your screen. Then you can select a cell on the radar and hit the big red fire button! Special weapons can be restocked by watching a video. - My friends don’t want to play, can I still play the game?
Definitely! You can play Battleship against random opponents from all around the world; or play practice matches against a bot. - I’m waiting for my opponent but nothing is happening, what should I do?
Your opponent might not be online at the moment. You can continue with another battle you have in progress or start a new one while you wait. - The game tells me I’ve lost my internet connection, what should I do?
You need an internet connection to play the game. You can check if your device is still connected to the internet. If your device is connected to the internet but the game is showing the message you can click the try again button to make the game reconnect. - What’s in the future for Battleship?

- I was at a certain level, but the game takes me back to a previous level, or all the way to the start. Why?
We assume you are playing Jewel Academy through Messenger on mobile? If you want to stop playing Jewel Academy, and make sure your progress is saved, please exit the game by pressing the little “x” in the top left corner. - The gates aren’t opening even if I finish the level. Why?
You can replay previous levels to collect more stars to advance! - The game sometimes does not load well on a certain device. Why?
This is an issue that occurs sometimes. We are trying our best to have our games work on every device. We support devices from Android 5 and up, as well as iOS 9 and up. - I can’t find the game in Messenger. Where can I play?
If you cannot find the game in your list of games, you can always type Jewel Academy on the Messenger search bar and tap Play. By pressing the ‘x’ in the upper left corner, the game will continue at the level you last finished. - How does the Daily Event work?
The score for the Daily Event is not added to your total score. However, the stars you earn are added to your total amount of stars. That was done deliberately to make it more fair if you compare your score with friends; they may not have played as many Daily Events as you, but they can play as many levels on the world map as you.

- How is the score calculated?
Per correct number you get points. Per complete row, column or block you get points. Per difficulty level you get a multiplier on your points. For a mistake, you get a point deduction, depending on the difficulty level of the Sudoku. When you complete the Sudoku, you can get bonus points depending on how quickly you completed it.
